Global Ambassadors are a group of students dedicated to the positive promotion of Conwell Egan Saint Anthony Residence Hall. They will work on a volunteer basis to serve as liaisons between the current Conwell Egan community and prospective students. The Global Ambassador’s main job is to be a helpful, friendly face for the new freshmen students on their first day of school and for the remainder of the school year. In addition to it, its main duties include being a mentor for two international students from around the world every year.
This program aims to inspire students to dream big and think global. By being involved with the Global Ambassadors Program, students will heighten their awareness of their place in the world and their ability to make positive change. They will gain the twenty-first century skills, confidence, and tolerance to contribute as global citizens.
Global Ambassadors' duties include:
Assisting students to find classrooms, lockers, and major areas of Conwell-Egan high school
Creating Monthly Newsletters and CEC videos
To provide international students with a cultural liaison to help them navigate American culture.
Answering questions about activities, classes, building facilities and school rules
Being a mentor for cultural exchange students from around the world.
