​The success of our program is due to our remarkable Host Families. You are an essential part of creating leaders for a better tomorrow through the personal relationship, language and cultural immersion home stay offers. While hosting an international student, you gain a new son, daughter, sister, or brother with whom you share your culture.  

With AnB Education...

Once you join the AnB Education family and are successfully matched with your student, AnB Education will support you throughout the hosting experience.

• We run and pay for the Criminal Background Check for your family.
• We conduct student orientations to offer guidance on how to live and communicate with host families in America
• We also conduct host family orientations to offer guidance on how to live and communicate with international students
• Our bilingual staff is available 24/7 in case of any emergency 
• Our Local Coordinators support you and your student's communication throughout the program.​

Host Family responsibilities
​It may vary from programs 

• To provide the student with a comfortable living environment. This includes a private bedroom with a proper bed, a desk, and a dresser for the student’s clothing. The student will need access to a working bathroom with a locking door and storage space for other belongings. They also need access to the outside of the building in the event of an emergency.
• To provide the student with 2 healthy meals on school days (student can buy his/her own school lunch), and 3 healthy meals on non-school days.
• To provide the student with transportation to and from school if there is no school bus available or if your home is far from the school, as well as for extracurricular activities, medical visits, and other outings.
• To provide AnB Education with a monthly contact report. This  serves to update us on the student's adjustment to home and school life in the United States.
• Other than that, we only ask that you take the student in and treat him/her as you would your own child, and try to include student in activities and outings. The student can pay for all of his/her extra expenses, but feel free to treat the student once in a while if you'd like.
